Der Autor
Bryan A. Garner is editor in chief of all current editions of Black’s Law Dictionary. He has also written many books and articles on legal writing, including The Redbook: A Manual on Legal Style, The Elements of Legal Style, The Winning Brief, Legal Writing in Plain English, and A Dictionary of Modern Usage. In 2003, The Chicago Manual of Style incorporated his restatement of English grammar into ist 15th edition. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Garner has taught there and at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he bears the title distinguished adjunct professor.
